Wednesday morning services of worship continue to be important in our community. We gather in the small chapel at the back of the church for this service. Throughout the year a group of 10- 18 people gather to pray for the world, those in need, and each other, share communion, and reflect on the Word. In place of a homily there is often a time for people to share stories of faith. Following this service there is a time of fellowship, followed by the weekly Bible Study. In recent years we have been using the series Feasting on the Word, which looks at one of the readings for the coming week and is engaging, relevant to our daily lives, and challenging to our faith.

New to the Ascension in 2015 is a bi monthly Evening Prayer Service from the Book of Common Prayer on Sundays at 8pm, and a bi monthly Morning Prayer Service from the Book of Common Prayer on Friday mornings at 9am. These services are lead by one of our Lay Readers, Brent Leigh. They take place in the Chapel and you would be most welcome to join in them. Please see the monthly calendar for specific dates of these services.
