We in Canada are extremely fortunate to have an abundance of food. Today, there are breakfast clubs at schools, soup kitchen, and food cupboards to try to ensure that no one goes hungry.
So many children around the world are starving. You will notice this bowl I hold is empty; it should be full of food. Hopefully, we will fill this bowl with monies to help freed these children today.
Canadian Foodgrains Bank a partner of PWRDF collect grains and monies, provide advice and education related to hunger and food.
To make today more significant the bulletin cover is printed on PWRDF 50th Anniversary paper and each person received a bookmark with the 50th Anniversary Prayer on it as they entered the church.
